Micromax Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121 Windows Phone Smartphones Launched at Rs 6,500 onwards

Micromax has launched its first set of Windows Phone-based smartphones,  the Canvas Win W092 and Canvas Win W121, priced at Rs. 6,500 and Rs. 9,500 respectively. Both handsets will be available on retail shelves in India from early July, according to the official Windows blog.

The Canvas Win W121 features a larger display and a high-resolution camera. The Canvas Win W121 bears a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) IPS display,  and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 200 (MSM8212) SoC that is coupled with 1GB of RAM.  It has 8GB of built-in storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).  The Canvas Win W121 comes with 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. 
It also comes with 2000mAh battery that's rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and 150 hours of standby time.  On connectivity front it include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.

Micromax Canvas Win W092 features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) IPS display, 
and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 SoC, coupled with 1GB of RAM.  It comes with 8GB of built-in storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB).
 It features a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

Karbonn has launched a low cost smartphone  Karbonn A50S at a very tempting price tag of Rs. 2,790. The smartphone is now available via an e-commerce website at a price of Rs. 2,790.
There is no official word on the launch of the Karbonn A50s yet, however.

The Karbonn A50s is dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) which runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box. It features a 3.5-inch TFT LCD display with HVGA (320x480 pixels) resolution. It Powered by 1.2 GHz dual-core MediaTek processor with 256MB of RAM.  The Karbonn A50s sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.

Lenovo unveiled its latest flagship device, the K920, at the Mobile Asia Expo event in Shanghai.  There is however no news yet regarding the pricing and availability of the device. As of now, there is no word on the pricing and availability of the Lenovo K920.

According to Chinese publication Lenovo K920 is Dual-SIM Smartphone, comes with a 6-inch Quad-HD (2560x1440) display,  it's runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box with the company's proprietary UI on top. The Lenovo K920 is powered by a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with Adreno 330 GPU. It's Comes with 32GB internal Memory with 3GB of RAM.

The new Lenovo smartphone sports a 16-megapixel rear camera and also houses a 5-megapixel front camera. On connectivity Front It supports NFC and also has 4G LTE / 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP, GPS connectivity option.

It decks in a 3450mAh battery, which can deliver up to 8 hours of usage time and up to 336 hours of standby time, claims Lenovo.

Sony Xperia A2 With Android 4.4 KiKat available from mid June

Sony has announced a new smartphone the Xperia A2 in Japan with NTT DOCOMO.  The phone is available for pre-orders but will be launched in mid of June 2014. 

The Xperia A2 runs Android 4.4 KitKat, and sports a 4.3-inch Triluminos display with HD (720x1280 pixel) resolution.  It is powered by an unspecified 2.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The Sony Xperia A2 comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, while there is no word on expandable storage.
There is a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor along with a 2.2-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats.

On Connectivity Front The phone flaunts 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and USB connectivity. It is powered by a 2300mAh battery, measures 128x65x9.7mm and weighs 138 grams.

Nokia Lumia 636 and Lumia 638 with 1GB RAM Launched in China

Nokia unveiling the Nokia Lumia 636 and Lumia 638 smartphones handset in china.  Both these new devices supports TD-LTE 4G, which is not available in Lumia 630.  these new devices runs on Windows 8.1 and also include free navigation via Nokia Here maps, and free music streaming from Nokia MixRadio. 


It has been noted that while the Lumia 636 (Seen above) is set for China Unicom network carrier, the Lumia 638 (Seen below) is headed for China Mobile.  Both devices are priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 12,400) and will hit the shelves on 21 June (Lumia 638) and 5 July (Lumia 636).


The common features shared by the Lumia 636, Lumia 638, Lumia 630 and Lumia 635 include 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) ClearBlack  LCD display with Gorilla Glass 3 and a pixel density of 221ppi; a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor ;  8GB of built-in storage;  a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera; no front-facing camera, and a 1830mAh battery.

Both The Lumia 638 is being currently showcased in the on-going Mobile Asia Expo in Shanghai. Both handsets will be available in matte Black, White,  Orange and Yellow colour variants. It is not yet clear whether the handsets feature dual-SIM support or not.
