Samsung Galaxy S5 come with Octa-Core variant coming soon

Samsung  unveiled its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S5 at MWC 2014 in Barcelona.The Samsung Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inch full 1080p HD super AMOLED display running on a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) will come in two chipset variants- one powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor, and other variants infographic listed a 2.1GHz octa-core Exynos 5 processor model.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 also has it's biggest new feature called Finger scanner, Heart rate sensor and more unique features.The Samsung Galaxy S5 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat out-of-the-box. Samsung Galaxy S5 features a 16-megapixel rear camera paired with a 2-megapixel front-facing option and Samsung has introduced a super-fast focusing time of less than 0.3-seconds. It comes with 16GB and 32GB Instorage models, with microSD card expandability up to 64GB.

It features a 2800mAh battery, rated to deliver 21 hours of talktime, and 390 hours of standby time.The smartphone weighs in at 145 grams (slightly heavier than the Galaxy S4), and has dimensions of 142x72.5x8.1mm (slightly thicker than the S4's 7.9mm).

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with MIMO functionality, ANT+, Bluetooth 4.0, USB3.0, NFC, and Infrared remote functionality.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 would go on sale globally in 150 countries starting from 11 April 2014.
