Micromax Canvas Blaze smartphone launched; priced at Rs 11,000

Indian mobile handset company Micromax launched dual SIM smartphone Canvas Blaze that includes one slot supporting MTS' CDMA network,
Micromax, in partnership with telecom service provider MTS, has launched the Canvas Blaze in India at Rs. 10,990. Micromax has also announced that the Canvas Blaze will be available from Wednesday

The Micromax Canvas Blaze supports dual-SIM functionality with GSM+CDMA support. It runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, and features a 5-inch display (unspecified resolution). The Canvas Blaze is powered by a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz along with 768MB of RAM. It sports an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera and also includes a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone supports expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card, though there is no word on inbuilt storage. Connectivity options on the Canvas Blaze include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE and 3G. Notably, the Canvas Blaze supports 3G-EVDO networks. It packs a 1850mAh battery.
