Chinese smartphone maker company Gionee has Unveiled its slimmest smartphone called Gionee Elife S5.5. Gionee Elife S5.5 smartphone is 5.5mm in thick as it's name shows S5.5.the company claims is the slimmest smartphone in the world.
The device has been listed for pre-order on the company's China page, at roughly $370 (translating to about Rs. 23,000).The thickness of Gionee Elife S5.5 surpasses the Vivo X3 smartphone, which is 5.75mm thick.
The Gionee Elife S5.5 features a 5-inch display of unknown resolution, which is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core CPU with 2GB of RAM.The Gionee Elife S5.5 include a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera for video calls.The smartphone will runs on top of Android-based Amigo 2.0 UI OS. it packs a big 2,300 mAh battery.
The Gionee Elife S5.5 will be available in White, Pink, Blue, Black and Purple.Gionee plans to launch the Elife S5.5 in over 40 countries, with an LTE variant planned for June, 2014.
