Nokia Lumia 1820 Smartphone

Nokia Lumia 1820 Smartphone

Ready to do a little multitasking? Circle February 24 through the 27th on your 2014 calendar. This is when MWC 2014 will be held. Now, open your kitchen pantry and remove the Morton's salt. You are going to want to take a pinch of it with this story. Take a deep breath. Here goes. The latest buzz around the proverbial water cooler is that the Nokia Lumia 1820 and a Nokia Lumia 2020 tablet will both be on display at the conference.

The Nokia Lumia 1820 will be the next camera-centric Nokia model, replacing the current Nokia Lumia 1020. Featuring a metal unibody design, the phone will offer a Lytro-style camera on back, which means that users will be able to change the focus after taking the photograph. Back in April, we told you that Nokia had been working on such a camera. The device had been leaked back in September with a render of the device showing the Siri-esque Cortana awaiting some input from the lock screen. The image was the first Lumia branded device to be seen with Windows Phone 8.1 running the show.

The Nokia Lumia 2020 is rumored to be an 8 inch tablet powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800. The slate will feature a higher pixel density than the Nokia Lumia 2520 and will run faster as well.

Again, take this with that grain of salt in your hand for now, and perhaps we will see these two devices in Barcelona next February.
